Taipei Day 4

Day 4 we did some sight seeing (and more eating, you'll witness) since we I had been shopping 3 days in a row.

This place is called Dan Shui, about 18 stations away from where we stayed.

Just got down from MRT

It was still empty now. You'll see the crowd getting in

Just a couple of hours later, the crowd was like 100fold

Alot of youngsters were sitting by the river side sketching and drawing. Taiwanese so artsy-fartsy? Romantic nya!

Eat eat eat! Some sweet potato snack, and reeeeally naish!!

So nice i can't stop eating!

Food food food

So you tried chicken skewer. Egg skewer?

What else is nice to eat here? Apparently everybody recommended this restaurant that makes "Age" (read:Ah-gay) so we went.

Holy cheese.

It's a 3-floor restaurant and it was FULL HOUSE. We had to wait for people to leave their seats, something like what you do in Penang for the char kuey teow. And it was soooooooo packed and it seemed like my expensive dress would be spilled and decorated with the juicy Age stuffing anytime.

So you are wondering how nice the age could be to attract soooo many people?

You really wanna know?

Ok

here it is:

These are ALL they have in the restaurant, pricing NT25 per dish.

And this is what contributes to the FULL HOUSEness. Fried Toufu with grass noodle stuffing swimming in some saucy gravvy.

Riiiiiiiiight. I'm not telling you too. Come come to Taipei! =D

Anyway. more walking after food. And guess what i discovered?

Lolitas in Dan Shui.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

This is the Loliest Loli i've seen in Taipei. Kirei!

And also....

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Doggies doggies doggies!!

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

This dog is huge but extremely well-groomed. His fur is ultra shiny and healthy. Like a celebrity dog!

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

So how can i miss the chance to be photographed with a celebrity? =P

And OMC you never know how many celebrities you will meet in Taipei.

Cheese this out...

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

She's got her hair dyed purple!!!

*edits* Noticed how i always bumped into "celebrities" overseas and requested a photo taken? Check the links out:

Celeb A in Shanghai
Celeb B in Shanghai
Celeb C in Seoul

You will hunt for chun chix when you come to Taipei. But how does a doggie hunt for chix? Oooops, i mean, bitches... Erm, wrong. Ok girl friend alright.

Finally we did some sight-seeing today, so scrap that Supa-Shopaholic-Cheese title off me. Oh wait, i actually love the title. I'm keeping it. LOL.

And boleh tahan kan, my photography skill? *giggles smugly* ^_^

Chilled in the hotel for awhile, until...... i was hungry again.

I was craving for, of all the things in Taipei, Mc Donald's!!!

But before your "what, are you crazy come all the way to taipei to eat Mc D" remark, lemmi tell you what.

Taipei's Mc Ds H-A-V-E R-I-C-E B-U-R-G-E-R!!!

And hor, look at the "content". It is as good as the cover. You think O.R Fillet Burger in KFC Malaysia meh, not even half the size of what you see in the ads. Or did i miss the super tiny "size enlarged to show texture" line? *eyes rolling emo*
